EITC Team meetup

How to better communicate the value we bring.

We had the most amazing Emotional Intelligence Training Company team meeting Friday, June 10th at my home in Vancouver. We have such a great team! I am so fortunate to work with such talented and wonderful people. Kim Cairns, Senior EQ Coach, came over from Victoria. Catherine Burdett, Senior EQ Coach and EQ Skills Trainer, flew in from Calgary (Cochrane, Alberta to be precise ;-) and Klaudia Willliams, CHRP and Senior EQ Coach, made the big trip from Burnaby, BC to be with us to spend the day dreaming, laughing, planning, and discussing how our little company can take its level of play to the ‘next level.’

We talked about our focus on leadership and our desire to work with Emerging Leaders (anyone who decides they want something better in their life and/or their work); New Leaders (anyone who is newly responsible for the performance of others); and Senior Leaders (veterans of management who want to improve their ability to inspire and exert influence over organizational effectiveness). We are very excited about our newly acquired ability through Catherine Burdett, to address the tourism/hospitality market.

We also want to continue to work with other coaches, HR/OD professionals, and others in the field of human service to support them to be able to implement programs and initiatives based on emotional intelligence in the service of their clientele (we’re very excited about the new EQ-i 2.0).

And we discussed how to better communicate the value we add. We want our prospective clients to understand that we offer transformative experiences that move them away from what they don’t want toward everything they do want – and, in terms of what this transformation to better self-awareness, better communication, better relationships – a better life and a more efficient, effective, lower stress work environment might be worth to them? Priceless.

To this end we will be announcing new course offerings, new service packages, new price plans and new ways to add value to our clients’ lives. We can’t wait to work with you!

Coaching with emotional intelligence

EQ Coaching is the best way we’ve found for individuals to disrupt their lifetime of habits, behaviours, and beliefs. EQ Coaching is the best way we’ve found for people to do serious emotional intelligence skills development.

  1. How do I access EITC for members? I completed the EQ-I assessment in 2007 and just recently – June 2011 attended the training for the upgraded EQ-I . 2 in San Franscisco, and receive the EITC Newsletter.

Thank you so very much for your excellent work!

  2. Hi Rosita, the EITC Member’s Page contains a lot of great resources for people who, like yourself, are involved in working with the EQ-i 2.0, however, it is only for people who have taken the EQ-i 2.0 Certification Course through our company. I’m sure the company that you took your training from also has a great stash of goodies for you too.

    Best Regards,

    David Cory
