Heart and Science of Leadership for Women
This course is a different kind of leadership experience. We combine the powerful framework and science of the EQ-i 2.0 Leadership model with a ‘learning lab’ approach for you to examine where you are, where you want go next and what EQ skills you need to strengthen to get where you want to go.
You will use the EQ-i 2.0 leadership assessment, framework, tools, and facilitated conversations as a guide to help get you there. This all happens in an inspiring, high-touch, interactive learning space with like-minded women, leading to profound insights and reflections as well as clear development goals and outcomes.
While the emphasis is on how to develop EQ for leadership, the course will impact your personal relationships as well as your professional career.
Emotionally intelligent leadership
Critical EQ skills such as self-regard, assertiveness, stress tolerance, empathy, reality testing and problem solving are highly correlated with the four dimensions of leadership.
Enhancing these EQ skills will transform you as a leader – and transform your other life roles as well.
Participating in the Heart and Science of Leadership course will offer you insights into your EQ leadership strengths and challenges and you will leave the course with innovative tools, best practices in leadership and concrete development plans to ensure meaningful leadership development.
Join a community of women leaders
You will also gain a community of other women who are on their leadership path and who can be a resource to you.
Your leadership story
What story do you want your leadership journey to tell? What are the highlights, significant moments and lessons learned in becoming a leader? How do you to use your experience to guide and support your team and lead your organization?
The course gives participants a chance to reflect on their leadership story and share their insights and passion with others. ‘This is what I’ve learned; these are my core values and important relationships; here’s what I’m grateful for, and here are some of shortcomings. This is the adversity I have faced and this is how it has impacted my leadership journey. This is what shapes who I am today as a leader and in life, and here is how I want to use my leadership role to advance and support others.’ And you will have the opportunity to determine where you want to go next in your leadership aspirations.
A new leadership conversation
Being in a learning environment with other leaders is what this course is all about. You will grow and learn as a leader by sharing experiences and strategies through intentional and focused conversations. You will have many opportunities to connect with other women as you build a new leadership conversation, together. All of this is guided by connecting EQ skills and competencies with the four dimensions of leadership – Authenticity, Coaching, Innovation and Insight.
