Thank you for helping us make 2018 spectacular

Celebrating 20 Years of emotional intelligence training, with EITC.

This was a big year for us. We have been celebrating twenty years of emotional intelligence training this year. David Cory has been delivering training, speaking, consultation, writing, and meaningful engagement with a focus on Emotional Intelligence and leadership for two decades. He has been an active changemaker in a growing movement from hierarchical to transformational leadership best practices. He has always been, and continues to be, deeply committed to providing first class growth opportunities and environments for personal and professional development.

This was also a big year for our pedagogy. We feel a great deal of gratitude to all of the people we have had the pleasure of working and learning with. We have said many times that the learning invariably floats both ways. We continue to be shaped by the people we have the honour of connecting with. It’s been our privilege to work with so many individuals and groups who are committed to lifelong learning and who often articulate their desire to contribute to a community vision.

We are also very proud of our newish leadership curriculum. Heart and Science of Leadership for Women has been around for a couple years now, but it’s fair to say that this year this course really found its sea legs and our enrollments were up dramatically. Jill Cory and Jill Jamieson are our primary providers of this leadership curriculum and we feel awed by their skills and vision.

We also have two new entry level offerings. This year we launched a simple free course, Five Day Self-Regard Challenge. And we also launched Writing for Emotional Intelligence, which is a 30 day writing course that helps you to find new ways to think about how you feel.

EITC alumni have been a really essential part of our success over these years, and this year we have taken strides to recognize that more. The people we’ve worked with have become ambassadors for emotional intelligence and are utilizing the EQ-i 2.0 model and assessments in diversified environments.

This year we launched a new alumni resource site . Even more exciting for us is our new alumni programming. We have Peer Debrief Level 1 which is a free course that matches up certification graduates so they can practice doing EQ-i 2.0 debriefs.

We also have an alumni refresher course for EITC certification grads. We developed it because some folks who have taken certification let us know that for one reason or another they had gotten rusty using the EQ-i 2.0/EQ 360. So we designed the refresher, and its price, to make it really easy for grads to refocus on emotional intelligence assessment and programming.

Now for a reminder to all of our alumni. It would be a great present if you graced us with your presence at the end of day one at each new certification course! Come and join us from 4:30 to 6:30pm and connect with us and other alumni to share your developments in your EI journey. Check the website, or contact Crystal, for dates of upcoming meetups in your city.

All of this has made 2018 an exhilarating year, and it makes us look forward to the next. Here’s hoping that you might be part of the next stages of our journey.
